Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, is a Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, has spoken out about why he is “hated” by his peers.

His “inferiors” despise him, he claims, since he has no “superiors.”

“Hated by my inferiors for having no superiors,” the controversial artist said on Saturday, alongside a photo of himself, posted to his X handle.

According to MISMOB, Burna Boy has said time and time again that Nigerians despise him.

Burna Boy made a sneaky accusation in the song “Thank You” off his latest album, I Told Them, about how underappreciated he is by Nigerians, even though he makes them proud “every chance I get.”

He claimed that, rather than Nigerians recognizing his priceless musical achievements, rumors circulated that his mother had been a dancer for the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti and that, due to impotence, he may not have a baby mama like his peers.
