The Nigerian musician Harrysong, whose real name is Harrison Tare Okiri, has pleaded with Kcee, the head of his record company, to pay him the royalties he has been owed for the past seven years.

Harrysong and Kcee had a contentious breakup in 2016, as reported by MISMOB.

The state’s Assistant Inspector-General of Police sent an invitation to the police, who subsequently apprehended Harrysong. After that, Harrysong stayed apart from Kcee and the label.

On the other hand, he asked his followers to assist him in requesting that Kcee let go of his entitlement on Monday through his social media page.

I’m pleading with you all to assist me in requesting that Kingsley Okonkwo, also known as Kcee, return my funds and make my music available.

He has been the one to collect all of my royalties for almost seven years now from my famous songs like Reggea blues, Baba for the girls, Samankwe, Better Pikin, and Ofeshe. Things are unfair.

At least he may keep his cut and hand over the money that is mine. The songs are mine, and he ought to be fair and give them to me. I know he enjoys bullying, but he’s Power Mike, so please, help me ask him.

“May God not allow us to labor while another person reaps the fruits of our labor in the name of Jesus Christ,” he wrote.
