Referee Simon Hooper was reportedly “disappointed” with the 3-3 draw between Manchester City and Tottenham on Sunday, according to Pep Guardiola, manager of the Premier League champions.

After a foul on Erling Haaland, Hooper controversially stopped a City attack that had Jack Grealish through on goal.

Because they perceived it as a chance to go up 4-3 late in the match, Haaland and his teammates reacted furiously to his decision.

Haaland stormed to the locker room in a huff following the game.

The response from the Norwegian was “It’s normal,” Guardiola stated when questioned about it. Even the referee would have been let down if he had played for Man City today.
