Biodun Oyebanji, governor of Ekiti State, congratulated Senator Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo State, on his re-election in that state’s governorship election on Saturday.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been verified as the most acceptable party in the state and in Nigeria, according to a congratulatory statement sent out by Oyebanji on Sunday and signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode.

The governor of Ekiti State said that Uzodinma’s victory was a reflection of the people’s confidence in the job that he has done so far.

Oyebanji asked Uzodimma to use his re-election as inspiration to improve his service to the Imo people and to step up the pace of good administration and excellent leadership to build on the progress made in his first term.

The governor of Ekiti also advised Uzodimma to offer a hand of fellowship to the other candidates who ran against him in the hope that they can help with the state’s development during Uzodimma’s second term, which will begin soon.

He praised the citizens of Imo State for being calm during the entire governorship election process.
