In separate operations across Imo State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) discovered illegal crude oil warehouses and arrested two people.

On Sunday, the NSCDC updated its Facebook page with facts and photos from the operations, highlighting the agency’s successful law enforcement efforts.

In the post, it says, “Intensifying the war against economic saboteurs: The CG SIS arrests two suspected economic saboteurs and impounds one Toyota Sequoia jeep loaded with over 5,000 litres of suspected adulterated AGO at Abacheke of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.”

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NSCDC) also reported that two illicit crude oil stores were found and burned during the operations in the Izorsu village of Oguta II Local Government Area and the Umuofor community of Oguta Local Government Area in the state of Imo.
