On Sunday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced that it had successfully eliminated a large number of terrorists in the Tsauni Doka area of the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This was announced in Abuja by NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet.

According to Gabkwet, the National Air Force (NAF) carried out the air interdiction mission as part of Operation Whirl Punch.

He claims the strikes were carried out after reliable information indicated that Boderi and his henchmen were present in Tsauni Doka.

In the early hours of November 16th, he stated, air attacks were performed on the location, dealing a crushing blow to the terrorists.

“Both strikes were termed very successful as several terrorists were neutralised and their motorcycles destroyed,” he claimed.

Along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road, and in various localities in Niger and Kaduna States, “Boderi and his brother Nasiru, along with their cohorts,” have been implicated for a number of attacks and kidnappings.
