The Mockler Center for Religion and Ethics in the Public Square is pleased to announce The Joanna Mockler Scholarship for International Women Leaders for the 2023-2024 school year.
This grant is intended to help an outstanding foreign female student pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree at either Gordon-Conwell institution. The awardee may be enrolled in any degree program, but must be passionate about bringing biblically based ethics into the public square.
Gordon-Conwell is a member of the Boston Theological Institute (BTI), a consortium of nine theological colleges in the Greater Boston area, as well as the Carolina Theological Consortium, which includes four theological schools in North and South Carolina.
According to the Association of Theological Colleges, Gordon-Conwell is one of the largest evangelical seminaries in North America in terms of total full-time enrollment.
The primary administration at the Hamilton campus oversees Gordon-Conwell. Each of the remaining three campuses is led by a dean who reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and main campus administration.
The Joanna Mockler Scholarships have the following eligibility requirements:
Applicants must be female overseas students.
The applicants must keep the church up to date on their academic and spiritual progress.
Applicants must have made at least one personal visit with church leaders and at least
one “newsletter” during and/or immediately after the end of the school year.
Applicants must meet the requirements.
Academic requirements, such as a suitable bachelor’s or master’s degree, are required for the course they choose to pursue.
