Temple has launched the #WhyUS campaign and scholarships to help overseas students understand why the United States is one of the most desirable destinations in the world to study.
These scholarships, ranging from $2,000 to $10,000, will be offered for the finest replies to our creative prompt for up to four consecutive years (four years for first-year students and two years for transfer students).
Temple University (Temple or TU) is a public state-related research institution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that receives state funding. Russell Conwell, a Baptist clergyman, and his congregation Grace Baptist Church of Philadelphia, then known as Baptist Temple, built it in 1884. On May 12, 1888, it was renamed Temple College of Philadelphia.

Requirements for Qualifying for the #WhyUS Campaign and Foreign Scholarships
International students must apply.
Candidates must be Temple students with an offer to study in an approved degree program at the institution (first-year or transfer international student). An international applicant is someone who has citizenship in a country other than the United States.
States, as well as those who do not have U.S. citizenship or permanent status.
Candidates must fulfill the university’s language requirements.
Candidates must have completed high school.
Foreign countries are eligible.
Undergraduate and graduate programs are available.
