Open Capital is presently seeking highly motivated and talented applicants for the Open Capital Career Program as a Project Leader. These programs are open to African graduates who want to achieve wide, ambitious growth goals while leveraging our strong international brand in impact investing and frontier markets.

Open Capital has created a platform to drive change in African markets, and we are looking for exceptional team members to join us in a 2-year minimum career-track post in Nairobi, Kampala, Accra, Abidjan, Lusaka, or Lagos.

What to Expect from the Open Capital Career Program as a Project Leader
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for supporting many live projects at the same time across a variety of high-growth industries and client types.

Project Managers collaborate closely with customers to build business and industry strategies, plan capital raises, and address complex operational difficulties.

During this time, you will work directly with senior management to manage and mentor our junior team while leading various client projects.

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire; Dakar, Senegal; Accra, Ghana; Lagos, Nigeria; Nairobi, Kenya; Kampala, Uganda; and Lusaka, Zambia.

Conditions for Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Open Capital Career Program as a Project Leader: Candidates must be African.

Candidates must be recent graduates.
5-10 years of demonstrated experience in a top global management consulting company, investment firm, or as an entrepreneur or leader in a high-growth startup, with major deliverables and client service responsibility;
Strong project management experience, including good communication and analytical capabilities;

Ability to deal effectively with clients of all levels and backgrounds; Interest in team leadership and mentoring our analysts and junior team members;
Extensive expertise in emerging markets, particularly in Africa, is preferred but not essential.

Strong written and spoken English skills are necessary.
Candidates for the Abidjan and Dakar sites must be fluent in French and English.
