Why should you work at RCT?

Drivers are given a company vehicle and a company-paid smart phone, with all expenses, including insurance, maintenance, and gas, covered during business use. Late model sedans, minivans, and wheelchair accessible vans are available. Smart phones and automobiles remain in the driver’s possession for the duration of the employment.

Drivers are compensated door-to-door, which includes all travel and wait time to and from passenger journeys.

Position Specifics Drivers often work Monday through Friday.

Up to 11 hours each day, with a maximum of 14 hours per day. A typical week could range from 40 hours ($620.00/week) to 60 hours ($930.00/week).

Weekend trips are possible for additional hours of helping. The driver must be comfortable driving after dusk.

Use a blend of customer service, communication, and defensive driving skills to provide safe, calm, and dependable transportation.

Help our passengers with any and all of their needs, such as carrying luggage, assisting with getting in and out of the vehicle, assistance with seat belts, and other items as needed.

Interact with our Dispatch Department in real time and navigate our company’s systems on a daily basis.

Qualifications for the Job
Hold a valid G Driver’s License and ten (10) years of driving experience. Be able to supply

A valid driver’s abstract and a letter of experience from your current insurance company.
Excellent general physical health and the ability to submit a medical report to back it up. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds if a passenger need it.

Due to carrying people in the vulnerable sector who have medical concerns that are affected by odors, a nonsmoker is preferred.

In reaction to infectious illness pandemics, be able to comfortably wear a protective mask and operate with cleaning chemicals.

Be able to produce a recent police check, including a vulnerable sector search, upon joining the company and as needed.

Have a current CPR certificate. During active employment, the employer will pay to update CPR certificates.

Depending on the situation, be able to drive for extended periods of time. the trip requested.

Be able to navigate an Android smartphone with ease. You must be able to use and follow a GPS system.

Get a thorough understanding of your own geographic location as well as the metropolitan Greater Toronto Area.
Ability to converse well in English.

Provide excellent client service.
Capable of determining whether a passenger has physical restrictions that necessitate additional assistance and offering such assistance upon pick-up.

When not on active duty, keep the company-provided car in a secure area.
