Applications are presently being accepted from highly motivated and talented Nigerian students for the Jim Ovia Scholars Program for Nigerian Students.

The Jim Ovia Scholars Program was established in 1998. Mr. Jim Ovia has fully supported it in order to provide financial assistance to exceptional Nigerian youths.

Previously, the scholarship was known as the MUSTE scholarship. Qualified recipients get financial assistance for their undergraduate studies throughout the duration of their program, which includes tuition and living expenses.

Jim Ovia Foundation is the scholarship sponsor(s).

Accredited Institutions in Nigeria serve as the host institution(s).

The scholarship is fully supported.

The total number of awards is 100.

The Jim Ovia Scholars Program is a scholarship program for Nigerian students.

The initiative provides an average of 100 possibilities each year for new candidates, while renewing applicants are supported annually if they meet all of the scholarship’s eligibility requirements.

Mr. Ovia has invested over 100 million Naira in the program since October 2010 to serve 1500 people and counting.

Mr. Ovia sought to create a network of future leaders in Nigeria who can compete globally with their peers, contribute new ideas and creativity, and are committed to improving the lives and circumstances of people in their local areas by establishing the Jim Ovia Scholarship.

Conditions for Eligibility
To be eligible for the Jim Ovia Scholars Program for Nigerian Students, applicants must complete the following requirements:

The scholarship is offered to all prospective Nigerian students in a Nigerian institution.

Each year, one hundred (100) recipients are chosen from a pool of qualified applications.
Scholarships are given based on personal intellectual aptitude, leadership potential, and a willingness to make a difference in society by improving the lives of others.
