Gabby Agbonlahor, a former captain of Aston Villa, has pushed Chelsea to make a summer move for Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
Agbonlahor thinks it’ll be tough for Chelsea to make the playoffs in the Premier League without Osimhen next year.
Despite bringing in Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, Chelsea striker Gabriel Agbaonlahor still thinks Mauricio Pochettino’s team needs a true No. 9.
Agbonlahor said to Football Insider, “They [Chelsea] still need a proper striker.”
Victor Osimhen is a strong option, but I hear that they are offering up to £170 million for him.
However, I believe that Chelsea requires more, as all teams are making progress.
“Villa will be there next season, and Brighton will be there as well, so it will be harder for Chelsea to break into the top four, and that is the bare minimum for Chelsea with the amount of money they spent.”
