As Arsenal continue their preseason training, manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the club’s latest arrivals.
On Thursday night in Germany, Nurnberg held the Gunners to a 1-1 tie.
Supporters wished that Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice’s transfers to Arsenal would be finalized in time for them to make their debuts.
While the last arrangements are being worked out, both players were unavailable.
As Arteta explained after the game:
We’re making do with the players we have right now.
Nothing is finalized at this time, but you will be the first to know when it is.
