Liverpool are apparently planning to hijack Chelsea’s transfer bid for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, according to talkSPORT.
Chelsea have been in talks with Brighton in recent weeks about signing Caicedo during the summer transfer window.
After losing Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, and Mateo Kovacic this summer, the Ecuadorian international is thought to be one of Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino’s top transfer targets.
However, Pochettino’s side have yet to reach an agreement with Brighton to sign the midfielder.
According to the report, Liverpool are considering a move for Caicedo.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and midfielder Fabinho have agreed to finalize their rumored moves to Saudi Arabia.
