Kai Havertz, Arsenal’s latest signing, has stated that he does not regret leaving Chelsea for the Gunners this summer.
Havertz came on as a second-half replacement in Arsenal’s 1-1 tie with Numberg in the first preseason game.

However, Mikel Arteta’s performance was poor, and he said that he is still unsure of the appropriate role for him.

Following the game, the Germany international was quizzed about his decision to join Arsenal.

Havertz stated that while at Chelsea, he was watching Arsenal and admired the youthful team’s style of play.

“I could feel the buzz in the club. It’s wonderful to be here…” He told German journalists.

“From the outside, it always appeared to be a big family, and whenever I played against them, I always felt the energy.”

“It was always difficult for me to play against them because you could feel the players’ unity.”

“Of course, you know Chelsea didn’t have the best season last year.”

“But going there three years ago was absolutely the right decision.”
