The arrest of one Oladimeji Hassan for illegal weapon possession has been announced by the Lagos State Police Command.
The Command announced the arrest of the 27-year-old suspect on Tuesday morning via the official X Twitter, stating that the incident occurred in the Berger neighborhood.
According to the post, the suspect had a locally produced gun and twenty-five live cartridges when he was apprehended by officers from the Ojodu Division.
In order to determine the motivation for the suspect’s actions, the Command claims that an investigation is now underway.
“Oladimeji Hassan’m’ aged 27 was arrested at Berger earlier today by officers of Ojodu Division after he was searched and found with a locally made gun and twenty-five live cartridges,” the post adds. We are still digging into this.
