Six people are killed when a bus collides with a truck in Ogun.
On Tuesday, a commercial bus carrying six people was involved in a collision with a truck in the state of Ogun, resulting in six fatalities.
According to MISMOB, the event occurred at Car Park C, which is located on the Lagos/Ibadan highway just across from the RCCG junction.
The accident, which included a Mazda bus with the license plate number EPE 440 YG, was confirmed by the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps.
The truck driver reportedly fled the scene as soon as he realized what had transpired, according to Babatunde Akinbiyi, a representative for TRACE.
The accident resulted in the instantaneous deaths of six people, five men and one woman.
Akinbiyi said the injured were brought to RCCG and Famobis Hospital in Mowe, and the remains were taken to the Idera Morgue in Sagamu.
