The King’s University – Canada is offering a £1,000 scholarship to students interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree program in the United Kingdom.
The Leslie Ann Hales English Scholarship was established to honor Leslie-Ann Hales, a dedicated and inspiring English professor at King’s from 1980 until 2012.
Undergraduate training in laboratory, field, or literary research is a major focus at King’s. Numerous projects are undertaken in collaboration with other universities, non-governmental organizations, community groups, and international alliances.
The King’s Center for Visualization in Science is creating computer-based teaching aids for high school science teachers to model chemical and physics properties and processes.
Alberta’s oil sands, pluri format, and other research having social policy consequences
in Alberta’s public education system and the delivery of men’s health care on a nationwide scale. International collaborations with non-governmental organizations and other universities are focusing on sustainability in business, communities, and resource-based livelihoods in Africa.
Students can choose from over 650 courses in 37 disciplines. King’s University provides three- and four-year bachelor’s degrees in the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and commerce, as well as a two-year Bachelor of Teaching after-degree program.
Environmental Studies and the Politics-History-Economics (PHE) combined major are two notable programs.
Presently, around 900 students are enrolled in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Business, and Bachelor of Education programs at the university. Academically qualified students of all faiths are admitted to King’s University programs.
Eligibility The Leslie Ann Hales English Scholarship Requirements
Applicants must apply and have a high school admission mark of at least 80% or a post-secondary GPA of 3.30 or higher with shown excellence in English studies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and a strong academic record.
Candidates must meet the entry requirements for each qualification they wish to pursue.
Candidates must demonstrate their proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Foreign countries are eligible.

The award is worth $1,000.

Eligible Area of Study: Bachelor of Arts degree program at the University with a major or first emphasis in English.
Procedure of Application: In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in the King’s University offers a bachelor’s degree program.
