To lure Riyad Mahrez away from Manchester City, a club has reportedly offered him a weekly salary of almost £865,000.

According to rumors, the Algerian international has been offered a staggering £25 million a year, or £480,000 per week, to join the exodus to the Middle East.

That’s far less than the weekly offer made to Jordan Henderson, captain of Liverpool, at £700,000.

The winger for Man City has reportedly been offered a massive £45m a year to join Saudi club Al Ahli, according to talkSPORT.

That’s almost £865,000 per week, which would be commensurate with his status as a five-time Premier League winner and a significant increase over Henderson’s current salary.

It’s also far higher than his present wage of £160,000 per week at Man City.
