Timothy Weah of the United States has joined Juventus from Lille for an unknown amount.
In 102 appearances for the French club, the 23-year-old scored eight goals.
Weah played an important part for the United States at the 2022 World Cup, scoring a goal in the group stage tie with Wales.
His father, Liberian President George, won the Ballon d’Or in 1995 while playing for Juventus’ Italian rivals, AC Milan.
Timothy Weah was born in the United States, but he began his professional career with Paris St-Germain, where he won the Ligue 1 title before joining Celtic on loan.
In 2018-19, he was a member of the Celtic team that won the league and cup double.
