On Saturday night, the Super Falcons arrived in Praia in preparation for their 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Cape Verde.

Their official X Twitter confirmed the arrival of the nine-time African champs.

The team arrived in Praia, Cape Verde this evening without incident, according to the announcement. They will play their second leg match on December 5.

In Thursday’s second leg of the 2024 WAFCON qualifier, the Super Falcons will face off against the Cape Verdeans at the Estadio Nacional de Capo Verde, Praia.

Both Uchenna Kanu and Esther Okoronwko scored twice in Nigeria’s 5-0 first-leg victory.

Gift Monday, a forward for Tenerife, also scored a goal.
