Federal Capital Territory (FCT) people should not steal from government warehouses, according to former senator Shehu Sani.
On Sunday, robbers broke into the Agric Department Strategic food store in Tasha, Abuja, and stole food and other valuables, as reported by the MISMOB.
At least fifteen individuals have been apprehended by agents of the FCT Police Command, who have also recovered a number of the stolen goods.
On the same day, criminals tried to break into a warehouse in the Idu Industrial District of Jabi, Abuja.
In response, Senator Shehu asked locals to halt the behavior in a post on his verified X account.
“Why did you invade and loot the Government food warehouse?” he wrote to the people of Abuja. Please don’t say it again.
