Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, minister of the interior, has announced the promotions of 32,361 employees from the agencies that fall under his purview.
The minister said that 4,498 employees of the Nigerian Prison Service, 4,598 employees of the Nigerian Immigration Service, 1,680 employees of the Federal Fire Service, and 21,385 employees of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps had been promoted by the Board.
This achievement, according to Mr. Tunji-Ojo, is unique in recent years and shows the government’s undying dedication to the officers’ well-being.
“The dedication of the RenewedHope government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) in prioritizing the welfare of our officers is demonstrated by this unprecedented feat in the history of paramilitary service in Nigeria,” he stated.
