If Kylian Mbappe wants to continue at Paris Saint-Germain, he must sign a new contract, according to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Al-Khelaifi was speaking at a news conference to introduce Luis Enrique as PSG’s new manager after Christophe Galtier was fired.
Mbappe, 24, has informed PSG that he will not be extending his contract beyond 2024.
“Our position is very clear,” Al-Khelaifi stated.
“If Kylian Mbappe wants to stay – and we do – he must sign a new contract.”
“We cannot afford to let the best player in the world walk away for free right now.” That is simply not possible.”
