Applications for the International Achievement Freshmen Scholarship are now being accepted. This scholarship is available to outstanding international applicants who wish to pursue a degree program at Oklahoma State University in the United States.

The program seeks to assist outstanding candidates who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at a university in the United States.

Stillwater, Oklahoma State University-Stillwater is a public land-grant research university. The Morrill Act established OSU in 1890. Formerly known as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College (Oklahoma A&M), it is the flagship institution of the Oklahoma State University System, with over 35,000 students spread across five campuses and a $1.5 billion yearly budget. The primary enrollment for

the fall 2019 semester was 24,071, with 20,024 undergraduates and 4,017 graduate students. OSU is one of the “R1: Doctoral Universities – Extremely High Research Activity” universities. OSU spent $198.8 million on research and development in 2021, according to the National Science Foundation.

The Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences is OSU’s major medical campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While being a separate school under the OSU System, the medical campus is accredited alongside OSU-Stillwater as one institution.

The medical campus has a clinical training association with Oklahoma State University Medical Center and offers residency/fellowship possibilities. With the medical school, OSU also created a campus in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the Cherokee Nation’s capital, and the nation’s first, and still only, tribally-affiliated medical school.

Eligibility

International Achievement Criteria Scholarship for Freshmen
Candidates must have 8.5+ IELTS, 115-120 TOEFL IBT, 30 ACT, or 1360 SAT, as well as a 3.25 GPA.
International students must apply.
Candidates must be fluent in English.
Foreign countries are eligible.

Undergraduate level

Awards are worth $40,000 each.

The number of awards is unknown.

Application Procedure: Candidates must apply for admission to a university undergraduate program. By submitting a completed entrance application, international students are automatically considered for programs. There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.

The application deadline is February 1st.
