In light of the ongoing situation in Rivers State, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike warned on Saturday that the people will soon find out who is in control when the time comes for politics.

Wike made the remarks during a visit to Victor Giadom’s Bera country residence in Rivers State’s Gokana Local Government Area, where Giadom serves as the South-South Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Forget about these hungry noisemakers on the road,” says Wike. At the appropriate moment, we will be able to identify the leaders and the followers. Every action has its appointed moment.

Politics has no place at this moment. Our identities will be revealed at the appropriate moment. You are free to treat me anyway you like. Use social media to hire anyone you want. To this day, I still don’t care who is abusing me.

There will be politics. Using social media as a platform, we did not challenge the election. The people listened to us and had faith in us after we spoke to them.

“Friendship will remain while parties come and go,” Wike remarked regarding his realignment with Giadom. There was an error on our part. Despite our frailties, friendship endures.
