The highly anticipated student loan program might launch in two or three weeks, according to Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff to the president.

During a visit to the State House in Abuja, Gbajabiamila revealed this to a group of students from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), headed by their president, Lucky Emonefe.

He urged the Nigerian students to endorse the plan, saying that it will help all kids in Nigeria, regardless of their family’s financial situation, get a good education.

We will see it through to a successful conclusion because the president is hell-bent on it.

“Our goal is to ensure everything is in order before the launch, so we are hoping it will be launched in the next two to three weeks,” he stated.

As previously reported by , the Student Loan Scheme has been delayed in its launch ever since President Tinubu signed it into law in June of last year.
