Chelsea has targeted Celta Figo’s Gabri Veiga as a replacement for Mason Mount, who has agreed to join Manchester United.

Mount, a Stamford Bridge academy graduate, is poised to join United this summer as the Blues continue their offseason sales.

N’Golo Kante, Kai Havertz, Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech, Jorginho, and Loftus-Cheek are among the players who have already left Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have already started looking for a replacement for the offensive midfielder.

According to the Evening Standard, Veiga is Chelsea’s main target for the attacking midfield position.

The 21-year-old has also been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool, and is available for £34.6 million due to a release clause in his Celta contract.

Last season, the Spain Under-21 international scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 40 games for Celta Vigo, including a brace in a 2-1 win over LaLiga winners Barcelona on the penultimate day of the season, which ensured the club’s survival in Spain’s top flight.
