According to Sky Sports, Arsenal has finally sent the necessary paperwork to West Ham in order to complete Delan Rice’s transfer.
The Hammers have now approved the transaction, eight days after agreeing on a fee with the Gunners.
The delay was caused by delays in the documentation being prepared by Arsenal’s lawyers.
Arsenal is now likely to make a club-record signing before Mikel Arteta’s team departs for a pre-season tour in the United States on Sunday.
Rice is said to have passed his physical and been training frequently while on vacation in Portugal.
After Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, the England midfielder will be Arsenal’s third major signing this summer.
