A demotion is what David Oyedepo, founder of the Living Faith Church and a potential presidential candidate, has compared to running for office.

According to Bishop Oyedepo, the Bible has shown him that he is already at the head of the country and cannot seek the presidency.

At the end of Shiloh, he made these remarks at the church’s headquarters in Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun State.

“When I said it will be like demotion if I am called to be Nigeria’s president because I view myself on top of nations from scripture,” Bishop Oyedepo stated, preaching on the spirit of faith.

Your inner man is the source of strength for a faith-driven spirit. Upon realizing God’s plan for my life, I made a change.

“You won’t believe how many countries will gather here if I go to be with God today.”

It is known that presidential contenders paid a visit to Bishop Oyedepo throughout their campaign year.

Meanwhile, Betta Edu, who is minister for humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation, had previously stated that Oyedepo’s prayers were essential in securing her selection to the position.
