According to mismob Mr. George Sibo, a member of one of Bayelsa State’s prominent parties, was murdered at the collation center in Twon-Brass, Brass local government area.
Hanson Alabo-Karika, chairman of the Brass Local Government, had an aide known as “Kobo-Kobo” Sibo.
When thugs broke into the collation center, they attacked him, so the story goes.
The deceased was a native of Twon-Brass, was hitched, and left behind a family.
According to accounts provided by witnesses, the murder took place at the Collation Centre, where results from various wards within the constituency were being reported.
The incident has prompted a response from Dr. Daniel Charles, the member for Brass Constituency l. The “gruesome murder of a vibrant and hardworking young man by desperate power seekers” had him in tears, he said.
Charles demanded that security personnel swiftly apprehend and prosecute those responsible for the heinous crime.
Police spokesman CSP Asinim Butswat in Bayelsa state said he was waiting for more information from the Police Area Commander in Brass.
