Social and political activist Reno Omokri has hoped that Atiku Abubakar’s petition to overturn President Bola Tinubu’s win will be successful in 2023.
This was Omokri’s way of pointing out that Tinubu wasted no time getting down to business following his inauguration.
Tinubu met with CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele and NNPC Managing Director Mele Kyari on the day he took office, and the steadfast Atiku supporter praised him for his audacious statement on subsidy elimination.
Omokri tweeted that Tinubu got to work the minute he took office, in contrast to the previous president, Muhammadu Buhari.
Making a strong statement about eliminating subsidies and then following through with concrete measures is what Omokri claims. Seeing Mele Kyari, then Godwin Emefiele.
“Setting up a series of meetings. When the DSS and the EFCC square off, he asserts his authority over them.
“In contrast to Buhari, Tinubu has had an immediate impact. I hope and pray that our petition is successful in overturning President Tinubu’s election.
“Regardless, I have to give props for what he did in his first day on the job.”
