The federal and state governments have been urged to dualize the main trunk A road in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, by the local residents.
Speaking over the weekend, locals stressed the importance of this measure in reducing the frequency of traffic accidents.
Approximately 18 people were reported killed in various vehicle accidents in the area within a week, according to mismob latest count.

Three traditional chiefs from the Oriire Local Government Area were among the casualties of the wrecks. The people of Odogbo, Bowula, and Ayetoro all lost loved ones: Olodogbo, Onibowula, and Alayetoro.
