Romelu Lukaku, a striker for Chelsea, will soon be returning to the club as preparations for the upcoming Premier League season get off.
The captain of Belgium played all of last year on loan for Inter Milan.
Lukaku wants to stay with the Serie A club, but the two teams can’t come to terms on a transfer deal.
Lukaku is set to return to Chelsea training on Monday, July 17, says football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
As Romano put it:
Romelu Lukaku is scheduled to rejoin Chelsea’s training camp on July 17.
The players have not yet decided how they will handle the preseason scenario, but they plan to talk about it in the next few days.
There will shortly be a new offer from Inter.
