The presidency has confirmed that Bola Tinubu pays attention to and feels the pulse of the Nigerian people.
President Tinubu has always recognized the hardships that Nigerians are facing, according to Bayo Onanuga, who is Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
According to Onanuga, the president’s initiative to help Nigerians out over the holiday season was the driving force behind the 50% transportation ticket rebate.
In an X post, he claimed Tinubu will spare no effort to alleviate the plight of his countrymen.
The president “feels the pulse of the people all the time” and “listens to Nigerians,” he wrote. He finds out what the public thinks by reading the newspaper every day and paying attention to the columnists.
He has frequently shown empathy for the short-term hardships people face and is open to suggestions for how to help them in his speeches and other public appearances.
That is why he decided that the federal government would pay for half of the transportation expenses for people traveling home by road for the holidays.
Furthermore, President Tinubu is inherently a compassionate man. In order to save our people any pain, he is willing to do anything.
