The incumbent party in Osun State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has issued a warrant for the arrest and detention of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

According to information provided by Olawale Rasheed, the governor’s spokesperson, the demand was made public on Monday by Tajudeen Lawal, the Osun APC chairman. This comes almost one month after Governor Adeleke left the state on a business holiday.

After Adeleke departed the state two weeks ago, the Osun APC continued by saying that the state’s citizens had a right to know his whereabouts and health status.

According to Lawal, there was a lack of knowledge that was leading to supposition from other sources.

The governor’s media aides have been ordered by him to reveal Adeleke’s real whereabouts and position.

As a constitutionally mandated leader, Adeleke must step up and provide the people with high-quality leadership.

Any human being, at any moment, in any place, can get sick. The public takes notice, nevertheless, when a politically exposed official, such as Governor Adeleke, is seen to have failed in carrying out his constitutional duties.

Nobody over the age of 60 who wants to dance like Governor Adeleke doesn’t have to deal with at least one health issue.

“It is crucial for the Adeleke handlers to maintain vigilance over him to make sure he stops doing the things that have contributed to his current health problems,” he stated.

At the same time, Sunday Bisi, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said that Adeleke will be returning to the country this week following a monthlong holiday abroad.

Bisi mentioned in a statement made by Oladele Olabamiji, the Osun PDP Director of Media and Publicity, that Adeleke had taken his first holiday since becoming the governor of the state a year ago.

The governor’s spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed, publicly announced the trip, which Adeleke will use to recuperate and engage with partners for Osun’s development, according to the statement. Rasheed underlined that the holiday was a working vacation.

As he begins his second year in office, the governor has utilized the month-long holiday to rejuvenate, recharge, relax, and revitalize.

You may recall that the governor graciously agreed to an interview for radio and newspapers to commemorate his one year in office. I am happy to report that our governor is in good health. He firmly stated that taking a break after putting in so much effort for 12 solid months is completely acceptable.

The governor was coordinating his team from abroad, Bisi revealed, while he was on vacation.

The Multi-Billion Infra Plan project was initiated by him. The construction at the Oke-fia/Lameco Junction is visible to all. Even while on vacation, our governor is hard at work.

“Osun should be ready to reap the benefits of democracy and good administration in spades when the governor touches down this week. Efforts by Osun APC are meaningless. Bisi went on to say that the Adeleke administration will be great for the state.
