Why the shooting happened remains a mystery.
Nevertheless, the kids who were impacted are reportedly being treated at the Gwarinpa Hospital in Abuja.
Some students allegedly damaged three NSCDC patrol vehicles after the incident as a form of protest.
Josephine Adeh, the spokesman for the FCT police, has confirmed the event.
Peace had been restored to the affected area, according to Adeh.
Furthermore, she mentioned that the incident was ordered to be investigated by Haruna Garba, the Commissioner of Police.
