Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Adamawa State, has been charged with six counts by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
INEC filed the allegations in the state capital of Yola’s high court.
INEC said in a statement on Thursday that the decision was taken after analyzing the police case file, which showed a prima facie case against Yunusa-Ari.
Yunusa-Ari was arrested by the police for his involvement during the Adamawa State governorship election. He was given administrative bail and told to report to the NPF headquarters every weekday.
