Applications are solicited for the KIPAJI Scholarship for Foreign Students at the University of Twente from appropriately qualified and highly motivated candidates. This fellowship is intended to cover study-related expenses.
The Kipaji Scholarship Fund was established specifically for bright students from developing nations. Students from these nations may have the potential but not the financial resources to attend the University of Twente.
The scholarship is intended to provide further assistance to UTS scholarship students.
University of Twente, Netherlands, is the scholarship sponsor.
University of Twente, Netherlands, is the host institution.
The scholarship is worth up to € 12,000 in total.

KIPAJI International Student Scholarship | DETAILS
The Kipaji Scholarship Fund was established specifically for talented students from the DAC’s list of Least Developed Countries and Other Low Income Countries.
Students from these nations may have the potential but not the financial resources to attend the University of Twente.
Students who are also recipients of a University of Twente Scholarship are eligible for the Kipaji Scholarship. The Kipaji scholarship is not available through the UT application procedure.
Students who are interested should specify in their UTS motivation letter that they also want to be considered for the Kipaji scholarship if they match the criteria.
Conditions for Eligibility
To be eligible for the KIPAJI Scholarship for Foreign Students, applicants must complete the following requirements:
International students must apply.
Candidates must possess
citizenship in one of the DAC nations (Least Developed Countries & Other Low Income Countries).
Candidates must commit to a full-time program.
Get a University of Twente (partial) scholarship. The Kipaji Scholarship can guarantee them a full scholarship.
Having received high marks in their pre-program master’s (average of 8).
Send a motivation letter outlining how they want to use their studies at the University of Twente to advance scientific knowledge or to start a business in their native country.
Current UT students are not eligible for the Kipaji Scholarship.

How to Apply: To be eligible for the Kipaji Scholarship, you must have previously received a University of Twente Scholarship.
Please visit the UTS website for more information on their unique criteria.
The program’s faculty recommends you for a Kipaji Scholarship. If the faculty requests it, you may be required to submit a motivation letter outlining how you intend to use your studies at the University of Twente to advance/enhance the scientific level or for entrepreneurial objectives in your home country.
When you match the criteria, please note in your motivation letter for the UTS award that you also want to apply for the Kipaji Scholarship.
